thankful to find out great results!

your local Ronald McDonald and be prepare to be humbled with
gratitude
(Right photo) After we said good bye
to Beth and Charlie we went to the Ronald McDonald House (RMH)

went to the hospital chapel to pray for Charlie and Beth.
We came across the chapel book people write in while facing
adversities at this hospital. This touched our hearts and
I had to share this with the world.

| While in
Nashville we ran into Nick Sterling at the Gibson Guitars after
hours party on Saturday the 24th of July. Nick just turned 14
and showed everyone his smooth as silk performance. We are so
proud of Nick a 4 time performer with GFL he has earned his
way into a Gibson Guitar Endorsement where we believe they will
be making him a special Gibson Guitar with a wami bar. Nick
also performs on other instruments including the piano and drums.
Nick's father Jim and I were able to spend a little time together
and we see even further the blanket of protection he has over
Nick. It's so nice to see mothers and fathers protecting the
talent of their children not looking at the dollar but looking
at the child looking at life and all they can do for it with
his gift. Thank you Jim and Jo Sterling. |

Yes
he jumps through the air with the greatest of ease. Plays
behind his back and even plucks the guitar with his teeth.
It was a time that was so rewarding for us. We talked with
his father Mark throughout the weekend and we are quite confident
that he is raising his son Mark to be well roooted and grounded
with respect and determination. Mark has all the qualities
for stardom with a magnetic draw to him. We are very thankful
to his father Mark who looks at this as an opportunity for
his son to contribute to Guitars for Life and all mankind
with his extraordinary talent, and I mean extraordinary talent
on guitar.
It doesn't stop at the
guitar, Mark played the piano amazingly and we've been around
this great big planet and performed with the best so we know
what were talking about. Mark had crowds around him, they
were shaking their heads in wonder. We don't call Mark a prodigy,
just because he was born called to do this doesn't mean he
doesn't have to practice. Mark told me he practices 4 to 8
hours a day. We are so hopeful and sure that one day soon
Mark will join GFL and together we will help today less fortunate
children and make the greatest impact ever known to mankind
through music. Mark senior we talk you so much for your dedication
to your son. |

Troy, Jared and Craig |
|
This
is Troy, Jared and Craig, Jared's father. Jared has Cerebral
Palsy. Troy has been a devoted friend since the time they
have met. GFL was touched by Jared at the Tesla concert, not
knowing that Troy was touched by Jared months before.
This is what Jared's father wrote to GFL after we got home
from the concert.
"Hi Casey, this is Craig Goff we met at the June 18th
Tesla show in Sacramento California. My son's name is Jared
the little boy with Cerebral Palsy. We would again like to
thank you for your kindness & generosity we enjoyed meeting
you and finding out about your organization. I’m looking
forward to possibly doing some type of benefit for cerebral
palsy in the future".
P.S "Thank you for having the shirt signed for Jared".
GFL met Troy, drummer for Tesla at the NAAM show in January.
We met again at the California Music Awards in June where
we hit it off to a new level. GFL needs to express our feelings
about Tesla. These gentlemen are more than just rockers they
are great men working hard at using music to help others.
Listen to their music, it's all positive. After the show all
their fans waited for them in special assigned seats. The
band came out to greet them and spent time with them and we
were blown away! They truly understand that it is all about
us caring for them and their music. To top it off they love
helping children with their music. Tesla has the power and
drive to keep them alive and make a positive impact with their
music to help our children!
