| Casey accepted
this award on behalf of GFL and the children that GFL
has had the privilege of meeting and working for over
the past year, particularly, John Tacket and Ashley
Hegi. |
Casey would also like to thank in acceptance of the
Michael Landon Award the following people for their
contributions and support of GFL: Michael Hedtke;
Frank Fabsits; Thom Bresh; Tommy Thompson; Daniel
and Virginia Morris; Alan Rothman; Steve Delgado;
the bands FARQ and Cradle; Martine Riggan and Rebecca
Cohn; Robert Riccardelli; Jose Garcia; Simon Barron;
Bill Boyrer; Davida and Anita from Italy; Dominique
from France; Pascal from Hungary, Deb Mikesch from
Midwestern Entertainers; Michael Angelo Batio; the
Sterling family, and all of the musicians who have
performed with us in the past.

At
this ceremony, Casey also had the honor of introducing
our pal Nick Sterling for a live performance. Nick
also received an award for ‘Outstanding Young
Rock Musician’. Nick is very deserving of this
accolade not only for his talent, but also for his
generous contributions to humanity and GFL. |

Maureen Dragone
is the founder of Young Artist Awards. GFL presented
her with the Guitars for Life Award for her consistent
work with all the young TV and motion picture actors
and actresses. GFL and Maureen hit it off so well. GFL
helped the morning of the show to set up. I talked with
Maureen and we asked her if we could take care of all
the musical and stage choreographing for next years
show. She said yes and that it would be an honor for
her. We look forward to this huge opportunity; we will
go all out for this one. Maureen Dragone is also involved
with the International Press Association and her mother
is founder of the Golden Globe Awards.

| This is Scout Taylor from the
Gilmore Girls. I talked with Scout and she seemed so
interested in GFL on the day of the Young Artist Awards.
Scout was so interested in our causes that she emailed
me today and helped me understand her a lot more. Scout
is not only among the elite Hollywood actresses but
she has a golden heart for helping children as well.
Scout is also involved in other charities. She helps
the Ronald McDonald House and Kids with A Cause, which
GFL would also like to work with in the future. Her
mother taught her at a young age to help those children
that are less fortunate in life. We are looking forward
to talking and working out our involvement together.
SCOUT TAYLOR and her MOM, YOU ROCK GIRLS! |

| GFL had the privilege and honor
to introduce Nick Sterling. I introduced nick and he
started playing from the back of the venue and strolled
up to the stage and blew everyone’s mind. There
was no doubt at all why he won the “Outstanding
Young Rock Musician” award. GFL just can't wait
for next year when we bring Nick back with his band.

Simon Barron
is the one responsible for GFL being part of this
wonderful event. His tireless participation just had
to be recognized! We were proud to honor him with
our GFL Trophy for his dedication and humbleness that
leads others to high accomplishments. We will always
be grateful to you Simon! |
